 Milestone Classes

How fun it was to see four of our classmates at the three year old Milestone Class this weekend! We had a great time. I know some of you took my class last year. Look out for the opportunity to take the four year old Milestone Class this spring!

Outside Fun!

We met in The Commons this morning where Mrs. Helmkamp spoke to use about taking care of our outdoor environmental playground. She reminded us to keep the dirt in the dirt pit, not to pick the pumpkins, to take care of the kitchen manipulatives and not to put dirt in the water area. Then we had fun on the playground and everyone followed Mrs. Helmkamp's advice.

Centers

We continued having fun with apples during center time. I changed the sensory table and the children enjoyed exploring the kinetic sand! A cash register was added to our Farmer's Market and many children enjoyed that area today. Thank you for all of the wonderful donations! I am seeing some great writing in that area, sharing and lots of sorting! More building with blocks and easel painting!

The Original Mrs. Wishy Washy Book

I introduced the class to the original Mrs. Wishy Washy book. The children began reading right along. We will be reading this all week! 

Happy 5th Birthday Nora!

We celebrated Nora's 5th birthday at school today. That included singing "Happy Birthday" and "God's Blessings" along with five birthday hugs and one to grow on from Mrs. Talley! We also danced to Koo Koo Kanga Roo's "Cat Party," and the class was super excited about that!!!
