Pumpkins and Scavenger Hunts

 Jesus Time

We finished our study of Creation by going on an outdoor scavenger hunt. Each child was given a clipboard and crayon with the things God created. We spotted a bird right away! When we spotted something, we marked it in on our list. Before we went on our scavenger hunt, Mr. Lion came out and asked the children to tell the story of Creation. I was so impressed with how many could tell the entire story and everyone joined in on...And it was Good!

Mr. Lion helping us review the story of Creation.

Outside Time

We discovered something very exciting growing on our playground. Ask your child what we saw... PUMPKINS  I took small groups of children and briefly explained the lifecycle of the pumpkin. We also saw a bee drinking nector from one of the flowers. It was amazing seeing God's Creation up close. I just love our playground! This was a little preview of more pumpkin fun to come next month!

We counted 10 pumpkins in various stages of growth.

Painting With Cars

A few more friends painted with cars during Center Time.

More Center Fun

More Outdoor Fun

I Loved capturing two friends having fun!

Leo and J.J. are using their muscles and working together to move the tire!

I captured Annibella skipping! Way to go!

Reading Time
Olivia picked the book for us to read today. We also reread No, David! The class loved helping me read that one!

Bird Watching
We have two birdfeeders outside our classroom. When we come in from the playground we are ninja quiet so we don't scare the birds away!
