The Perfect Wednesday!

It really was the perfect Wednesday! Beautiful weather, chapel in the church, and painting with cars! We had no spills at snack and everyone was so helpful today.  What fun we had in preschool today!

Chapel

Zion's Assistant Principal, Mrs. Kuhlmann, led our chapel today. She talked about the seven days of Creation which we have been talking about during Jesus Time in our class. Everyone knew what God said after each day... And it was GOOD! He rested on the seventh day and said it was very good! Mrs. Kuhlmann told us it was our job to help take care of the world God made for us. On our walk to the church for chapel several of the children noticed trash on the elementary playground and agreed that it wasn't nice for people to leave that trash behind. They picked it up and we threw it away. So, we were already practicing what Mrs. Kuhlmann reminded us to do. Way to go class!!!

It was Nora's turn to carry our class cross.

Our class listening to Mrs. Kuhlmann during chapel in the sanctuary.

Happy Baptismal Birthday Harrison A.! It wasn't today, but will be this month and today in chapel we celebrated all September baptismal birthdays.

Outside Time

I spied more climbing today. Great for our developing bodies!

Some future chefs?

There is so much to learn and discover on our naturalist playground!

I observed these girls playing following the leader. It was self prompted and while doing so they were practicing balance while walking and running.

Sometimes we need to take a little rest and enjoy some friend time.

Painting With Cars

In all of my years in education I had never painted with cars but why not? This week we are doing box painting and the cars are moving back and forth in the paint, making tracks, while we move the box back and forth. We are observing the colors mix as well.

After driving in the paint, the cars needed a trip to the car wash! Luckily I had some friends volunteer to help out with that!

Pete the Cat... I Love My White Shoes!

The class really enjoyed reading the original Pete the Cat book. The book that started it all! They wanted to read it again and again!

More Fun
A few more fun things that were captured. Drawing pictures of our cars and trucks

Abikriti loves to paint!

Mrs. Griffin was our sub assistant today. We talked about how Mrs. Koenen was probably in Switzerland today eating yummy chocolate!

Our snack prayer. Incorporate it into your dinner prayer at home.

Mr. Lion made a visit!!!
