Tuesday's Blog

 Jesus Time

Miss Steinbacher, visited our classroom for Jesus Time. She told us the story of Joseph and his colorful coat and his twelve brothers. She did a great job telling us the story, new for those students who were not here yesterday and a great review for those who were! We also sang "We Loved Because God First Loved Us."

Joseph forgave his brothers just like Jesus forgives us!

Outside Fun

Luke and Leo have fun in the tires. Luke is pretending to be a koala and Leo is a giraffe!

There was lots of cooking going on in the outdoor kitchen!

And some ballerina dancers on the stage! They attracted an audience.

Looking for ants on the log!

Fun in the dirt pile!

A New Thing to Fix

Thank you to Renesmae's grandma for brining in a printer for us to "fix!" It was a very popular place to work today!

Making Spooky Halloween Soup
We had to follow the recipe card and put that many pumpkins, spiders, and eyeballs in the bowl

Drawing Self Portraits
We talked about body parts (head, face, neck, body, arms, legs, hands, feet) and drew self portraits. The children looked in a mirror and drew a picture of themselves with a marker. I'll be excited to share these with you at the parent/teacher conferences!

Farmer's Market

Building

Spiders!
The children enjoyed coloring these realistic spider pages. We counted their legs and eyes. Spiders have 8 of each!

Fun Fall Puzzles

Making fun pumpkin faces with play dough!!!

We Love Books!
We read a book about a squirrel that was very helpful to her forest friends.
