Friday's Blog

Our class was small today, only 9 kids! We had several students on trips out of town and some home sick. We hope everyone feels better soon!

Sneak a Peek Week
We had so much fun inviting our family members into our classroom this week. The children were so excited to show their loved ones their morning routine and introducing them to their friends.

Beckett and his sister.

Olivia and her dad.

Outside Time
J.J. makes pumpkin stew!

Ava and Oliva do some cooking.

Selah is looking for birds in the garden.

Beckett takes a closer look at the flowers.

Pumpkin Fun!
Exploring the pumpkin continued to be a fun area. I added some rubber bands and the children enjoyed making geoboard designs.

Creative Collages
The children used the many different kinds of materials we have in the art center to make collages and colorful works of art!

Creating a Track
Friends worked together to make a track for the trains.

Baby Moses
We acted out the story of Baby Moses during Jesus Time with a baby doll and basket. Some of our friends played with Baby Moses from our Bible story during centers while others chose to color pictures of Moses.

The Sneaky Squirrel Game
The students learned to take turns, follow directions and review colors while having fun playing the sneaky squirrel game.

Making Letters With Playdough
We practiced creating letters with playdough during handwriting time. How fun!

Caught Reading!
I always enjoy catching the boys and girls reading!

Our read aloud book was about a giant pumpkin that two mice were both taking care of but didn't know until the end!
