Outside Fun!
A few girls may have come home with dirty jammies!
Leo and Luke G. have fun in the playhouse!
Building a campfire.
Doing some cooking.
A bird came a visited our classroom. I stopped reading and directed the class over to investigate. It stayed for awhile and we all got a good look!
Someone said, "That was so cool!" That's why we stopped reading to observe this little creative God created. It was pretty cool and unexpected!
Joseph and His Coat of Many Colors
During Jesus Time we began talking about Joseph and the amazing colorful coat his dad Jacob gifted him. Joseph was the favorite of the twelve brothers and this made his brothers jealous so, they threw him in a dry well and sold him as a slave. We played a color game where each child was given a color and had to stand up or sit down when their color was called. It was a great listening exercise! Some children chose to decorate a colorful coat like Joseph's with dot markers during center time.
Building With Friends
There was a lot of great building going on! I love seeing the children problem solve and work together.
Cutting and Painting
Some friends practiced cutting at Centers. Others chose to paint and our Fall Harvest Store is still a hit!
Luke G. stops to read! Love catching this!!!
P.J. Day
It was so much fun seeing the class show up to school in their jammies! We had fun playing with our stuffed animals and showing them our classroom.
We read the book, "Where the Wild Things Are," a classic bedtime book. Since we were wearing jammies, it seemed appropriate.
