Jesus Time
We acted out the first part of the story of Joseph, his colorful coat, and his brothers. It was so much fun! Everyone had a special part!
Levi portrayed Jacob, the father!
Beckett was Joseph with his colorful coat!
We were the eleven other brothers!
What are we going to do about our brother Joseph?
Let's take our brother Joseph and put him in a pit!
Joseph in the pit.
We played the traders.
Jacob, here is Joseph's coat but Joseph is dead.
Spiders
We listened to the song "There's a Spider on the Floor" and followed directions by putting our spider where the song said to. Then we came up with our version taking turns telling the class where to put the spider.
We read a book about "The Spider" and a few children wanted their own mini book to read during centers.
We also watched an animated version of the book "The Very Busy Spider" by Eric Carle.
Center Fun
Centers were so much fun!

Repairing the Printer
The Farmer's Market
Avaya writes a list of names in the Farmers Market. Dramatic Play is a great way to observe children's developing writing skills.
Painting
The Sensory Table
Alphabet letters have been hidden among the beans in the sensory table. Harrison found some and began building words!
Making Squirrels
Some friends made some fantastic squirrels out of construction paper. I loved seeing friends helping each other and loved seeing how unique each of the squirrels look.
Making the Letter V
Loved catching these kiddos reading!
