Friday's Blog

What an exciting day! Real firefighters and a big fire engine visited the preschool classes. Everyone got a firefighter helmet and the opportunity to climb into the fire engine if they wanted. Jesus, we thank you for firefighters who keep us safe!

The Firefighters Visit Our School

In full gear!

One of the firefighters put on his gear and showed us what he looks like when he is ready to fight a fire. We learned that someone dressed like this is here to help us if we were ever in a fire. We heard the firefighter breathe while he had his oxygen tank on.

We saw the hoses and some of the equipment on the truck!

Friends checking out the inside of the fire engine!

Our class in front of the fire engine!

I just had to take a selfie!

Waving goodbye to the firefighters! Thank you for your visit!

Bean Bag Dances
We got the bean bags out today and danced to several bean bag songs. "The Bean Bag Rock" and "Say Hello to Your Ban Bag." Both songs had us moving with bean bags and had us following directions.

Fire Safety
We learned two fire songs this week, "Hurry, Hurry, Drive the Fire Truck" and "If My Clothes Should Catch on Fire."
