Today we learned about the 12 Spies...

I reminded the kids that we learned
last week how Moses led God's people from Pharaoh.
God commanded Moses to send 12 men into Canaan,
the land He promised them. The 12 spies go has commanded
but when they return 2 of the spies gave a positive report..
the other 10 said very negative things.. these men
forgot that God is also with them... they lost their
trust in God.
I reminded the children even when we are feeling afraid
God is with us wherever we go!

We were praying for a friend who is not at school today
and has a hurt hand...... and they children started
thing of ways to make him feel better.....
so they class decided they wanted to make him cards...

I so proud of how these kids love being
"Called To Care"

We took our apple from Monday out of the jar
and checked them out...
the children made some great observations.....
A few comments;
The apple in the open air got all dried out.....
The apple used to be yellow now its brown
The apple changed....

Then we moved the jars back to science
for the children to check out close up

Early in the week I took pictures of the children
and today some got to put apples
on top of their picture
one apple for every letter in their name
