Morning Work

We finished the week with
reading a BIG book
about Moses and th e
Red Sea

Some of our Friday friends didn't
get to be introduced to the Share Bear
from earlier in the week

Carpet time is great for so many things
Like social-emotional
development .....
learning to listening while others are talking
part of listening is focusing our attention on the person
speaking, not interrupting
waiting....waiting to be called on or for our turn
with the SHARE BEAR

The SHARE BEAR helps with turning taking
and knowing when it is our turn to talk......
only the person holding the
SHARE BEAR
should be talking

Sometimes I will ask a question during
sharing time or I will just have the kids
share whats on their minds

Today was a question I asked
How we can we be Called To Care with our
families at home.
Brody was excited to share to day he was
called to care
by helping his mom

Everyone did such a great job
waiting for their turn

Outside Time

Tires and wheelbarrows
are such fun and for great for
developing large muscles

Matching Bows!

Evie and Roselee spent lots of time
on the playground together

Charlie told me he was collecting rock
for his rock collection

The kids love exploring the overgrown
flower/butterfly garden

Putting out "sitting stones"
by their campfire

When it was time to go inside....
all the kids worked together
(being Called To Care)
to bring the logs and rock
back to where they are stored

The wheelbarrow was pretty
heavy, so Tristan and Eddie are
working together to move it

Brody got to sit with by the
teacher today...
Mrs Franco, was Mrs Larimore's
sub today.
Mrs Franco has 3 children that go to Zion

Eddie really enjoys being snack manager

Snack Time

Today I introduced graphing

Earlier in the week some of the kids got
to test taste and then write their name on
what color apple they liked the best
So today I showed the children the graph
then we counted as I added the apples
Then I asked them which column
was highest...showing them that red was
highest...which means more people like the red apples
