Next we did an experiment First I talked a little about sink and float |
| Then I showed the kids different items.... |

| So then we tried a lego.... it also floated |
| It was a small pumpkin and I gave each child a chance to touch and hold the pumpkin before making his/her predictions.... |

| Then some one said...... what if we put a bigger pumpkin in.... I bet it will sink SO what a great learning experience... we put a bigger pumpkin in and it floated!!! |
Since it was cold and wet out...we went to the commons |

| Center Time Several new activities out today... |
| Painting with real paint(not just water colors) I set up the pumpkin so they could look at the pumpkin and paint what they saw |
| Sensory Table was full of black beans... pumpkin erasers.... could pretend to be picking pumpkins at the pumpkin patch also there was plastic pumpkins and a variety of other items to sort and count |
| Dominic.. I will put each child's picture with the story and put it together in a book... Not everyone got to do it yet... but everyone will have a chance |
| I brought this (toy) coffee maker from my daughters old toys... it was a popular toy today |

| After a few... I got smart and put their name tags next to their creations SO we could see their work better but I will know who made each creation |
