I will send a letter explaining it more BUT it is to

We had a few minutes

๐๐๐๐
I asked the children to fold their hands
and close their eyes for prayer....
Ben was snack manager
SNACK
3 tables for snack
today
Claire was the
teacher assistant
WOW!!!
SO many S words
Their goal was to have so
many S words we would need
another paper to write them on......
and we definitely achieved that
goal today
YESTERDAY
we did an experiment
we had an arctic animal
and a bucket of water and I asked the
children what would
happen if we put it in the freezer...
MAKE ICE!!!!
But the experiment also turned into a
SINK or FLOAT
experiment..
we started adding different things to the water
to see what would happen
could we find anything to float
The children also wanted to know if we
completed covered the
polar bear...would it then float
The Polar Bear stayed at the bottom
But we did find other things to float
The friends from yesterday were eager
to see what happened to the water....
It was frozen solid!!
The children got a chance to
look at the ice....
look at the ice....
we could see the polar bears feet!!
and we also got to touch the ice
Then we wanted to see how we could melt it
SALT...made the ice melt
as well as warm water
Also one friend suggested that the
warmth of the classroom was also melting it
we put salt, warm water and
spoons out for the children to see if
we could free the polar bear
for center time...
Some friends chose to
go to the ZOO first
we moved the ice to the floor
so more children could
experiment
we also decided to make a BIG snake
from a paper chain
Hazel and Claire really got the
hang of it
Fun to try to get to the
polar bear
MARBLE RACE
Addie and Charleigh
wanted to learn how to make a paper
flower
getting closer to freeing the
polar bear
Addie hanging her flower and butterfly
Bria and Luke playing zoo
I overheard Bria being
a zoo keeper talking to Luke
about our zoo....
so cute
It was clean up and we still didn't
free the polar bear
SO with the water that melted I added
blue and then poured it back on top of the
ice that was left..... and put it back in the freezer!!
We will check on it again tomorrow and
try to free the polar bear
Mason was super excited about this
tall marble race he built
When it is clean up time..... I always say
FREEZE YOUR KNEES...
I just thought this picture of Luke dressed up
was so cute!
Hazel was our
