Happy Tuesday

A week
or actually a month
full of birthdays

Happy Birthday, Carson

Carson making his birthday crown

Nora started her

morning coloring
Colton is using
scissors

Oliver is enjoying the
animals

New play doh
Thank you Carson

Winston and Lincoln
joined Oliver with the animals

Birthday Guest Reader

Carson's dad

Oh bummer.... blurry!
We sang Carson Happy
Birthday

Since we were already on
the brown
carpet we
did attendance

2 friends NOT here
11
friends here

Then we moved over to the
blue carpet to vote for the
name of the zoo

right now it is
9 votes for City Zoo
8 votes for Valentines Zoo

I sent Cecilia a text
so that she can vote and then all the votes
will be in....

we watched a video to learn more
about Arctic Animals
you can watch at home too...

A few minutes to run
before chapel

CHAPEL
Student Council
led chapel today

Teddy was our offering helper

Then we went to
the PINE YARD
to run some more!

We discovered ice, but
it wasn't super thick
so the children
were able to break through it

STORY TIME

Hazel was librarian and chose this
book and then got to put it
back on the shelf

Teddy was our weather helper
COLD

Oliver was prayer leader

Carson snack manager

SNACK
WELL...... Cecilia voted......
She chose VALENTINES ZOO

So YES!! 9 to 9! We are tied again!!!

To break the tie I wrote the names on
a piece of paper and had Mrs Koenen
pull one of them from a bowl...

CITY ZOO won!!!

Some friends cheered
some friends were disappointed

Disappointment is OK...children need to
learn how to
handle disappointment and that things won't always
go their way and that it is still
OK

I think everyone handled it very well

Winston was teacher assistant

CENTER TIME

We are making signs for
our zoo

Hazel and Nora wrote
CITY ZOO
for us and then began
painting

Winston wanted to play
with the snow and Arctic animals

This group of
boys LOVES the ramps

they are now started to add
curves to it

Many friends went to our zoo

Oliver was helping paint

How many animals
tall are you?

we made a few
individual trays of snow
too

Mason was exercise leader

push ups
because of chapel we did
not do Jesus Time

So I had Colton lead
invocation before prayer

also got to help with our
devotion

prayer requests

LOTS of friends have been working
hard at zippering themselves
to get on our zipper chart

So the children got to add their
picture if they zipped
themselves!
