more cutting
Cecilia was our
attendance helper
3 friends NOT at school
10 friends AT school
No Jesus time today
because of chapel
We talked about how we are all
part of God's family and at school we are
part of a
CLASS FAMILY
Families take care of each other
and are kind to each other
Each day as we come to the blue carpet
we will pick and rock with a cross on it and add
it to the box
When we put the rock in the box
we will say
I WILL BE KIND TODAY
and as a class family
we are voting on a CLASS
FAMILY NAME
FAMILY NAME
Below are today's ideas:
we will vote later
today
Today we added our rock to the box as
we lined up
starting tomorrow we will do
it as we go
sit on the blue carpet
It is the sweetest thing to hear
everyone say
I WILL BE KIND TODAY!
OUTSIDE TIME
Carson told me they were playing
storm and this tunnel
was their safety
He had his arms around Nora's
younger sister, Ella(most of the time...of course
for the picture he moved)
It was so sweet!
Teddy climbed into the
tires that were stacked
on top of each other
Then lots of friends wanted
to try
CHAPEL
Pastor Fieberkorn
led chapel today
we learned about how we can show
love to others and how God
shows his love to us!!
Teddy was our offering helper
STORY TIME
we study the cover for a few minutes talking
about sheep. Sheep really do get their
"hair" cut
which all the children were amazed by.
However, they don't tell us they
DON'T want their hair cut
and they don't stand with
their arms crossed in front of them
so we decided this book is fiction
Teddy was weather helper
Teddy chose windy
Lincoln was prayer leader
Mason was snack manager
a favorite job!!!
Carson was kind to Nora
who needed help carrying her snack/water bottle.
I told her
I would help her but Carson offered
and took her water bottle to
the snack table for her
VERY KIND and got his name on the
kindness chart
SNACK
Oliver was our teacher
assistant today
Getting ready to vote!
I wrote everyones ideas on this
BIG piece of paper
VOTING teaches the children about listening to
everyone's ideas and sometimes others may have different ideas than you
but we will decide based on what MORE people like.
So we will count
use words like
most/more
less/least
after the children who weren't here today
vote
we will know which name will win!
Then gave everyone a piece of paper with their name
already written. They stuck their name by
the idea they wanted
CENTER TIME
STEP 3 in our
collaborative Art
Project
glue all the items
that the children helped sort
and/or cut to
the colored sticks they painted in the
beginning of the week
Hazel was our
exercise leader
ARM CIRCLES
So yesterday a
friend found an egg shell
on the near the front of school
Yesterday we took a close look at the shell
and looked up video
of a bird hatching from its shell
Today we took a walk
to go see if we could see
the nest and the bird
to further investigate
This is the area where
the bird egg shell was found
we sat quietly under the tree
and listened
WE HEARD THE BABY BIRD
But we could not see anything
so we decided to sit across
the street and watch
We decided the mom bird wouldn't come
out if we were so close
the playground right next to where we were
sitting had lots of kids outside
for recess. It was loud.
We did NOT see any birds.
But we are hoping tomorrow
it will be quieter.
we will go outside before the big
kids have recess.
picture of the tree
with the nests
Our investigation walk took a little time away from end of day prayer
so we did prayer a little
differently today
but the children did miss our
usually way...
they really like it when I write their
prayers and then say them.
But we all sat together and went around saying our
PRAYER REQUESTS
and
THANK YOU JESUS
Carson chose
After a while, Crocodile
for our
Good Bye Rhyme!
