Nora was our attendance helper

1 friend NOT at school

13 friends AT school

Carson volunteered to be our

invocation leader

we sang a new song we

learned yesterday 

This song reminds us

that the bible is a special

book and it also reminds us how

much God LOVVES us!!

THAT IT IS A SPECIAL BOOK 

AND HE LOVES US SO!

We reviewed the story from

yesterday

The first man God created

ADAM

and the first women 

EVE

Adam and Eve got to live in

the Garden of Eden

were everything was perfect

They only had 1 rule

do NOT eat from the tree

of good and evil

But the sneaky snake

tricked Eve and got her

to break God's rule

she ate from the tree and also fed

some to Adam.

They were immediately 

embarrassed and afraid

I told the children

that God is very LOVING and 

FORGIVING

even when we make mistakes

to form the F

sometimes it is hard to know

which direction to 

point the little lines

who didn't get to do

a small group activity

SO I worked with them

today

We looked at images of a 

SUMMER TREE 

on the smart board

I talked to the children about

how trees look different depending on the season. right now our 

trees have lots of leaves and are green.

I also showed them the parts of the tree:

Trunk

leaves

and the roots

I asked the children to look at the picture

of the tree... what colors do you see...... then I asked them to choose 2 colors

to draw their own tree

I then took my small

group outside to

observe a real tree

we sat outside and 

observed the tree

then we drew what we

saw

after we drew the tree, we got to get close

and touch the tree and point out all

the parts

we even saw ROOTS

More center time

Mason still needed to 

do a scissor assessment with me
