Lots of friends

Carson
was our attendance

I friends NOT at school
15 friends AT school!
Addie was our
Invocation Leader
Zippy came to class today
Zippy was really HAPPY and in
a great mood.
He was telling us he was
the BEST and BETTER than
anyone else because he got
a medal for running the
fastest!
I told Zippy it was great he won
for running fast! He should be proud of himself. BUT
i asked him if he knew why he could run so fast?
He didn't remember.
So I asked the class if they knew
where their gifts and special talents came from?
Someone said GOD!!
YES!! It is because of Him
we can do great things.
We should always remember
to thank GOD for our special talents!
Zippy was sorry he had forgotten to put God first, but I told
the class and Zippy
that God is very forgiving if are sorry,
HE will forgive us!
Then I read the story
The Tower of Babel
from the bible!
This story is similar to Zippy and people had forgotten
about GOD. We should always put GOD
first. And when we see a cross,
we can be reminded that God sent Jesus to save us from
sin. If we believe in Jesus we can go to Heaven.

CENTER TIME
You may have noticed the last 2 days
that no children are in the dramatic play.
This is because I am highly encouraging the
children to try other centers first.
I know they love dramatic play but
no one was trying anything NEW.
I think they have been enjoying it!!
(after the initial disappointed of being asked
to choice a different center first)
And then no has asked to go there
after they got started in other centers.
