| We modeled self-talk... A few kids volunteered to pretend to be playing and then I gave several step directions and then I taught the kids how to self talk...... repeat the directions in a way they can remember I explained that it doesn't have to be loud..just to themselves The direction was Its time to put the ladybugs away and come sit on the blue carpet The girls then modeled self talk by saying put away the ladybugs and come sit down LOTS of kids wanted to volunteer |

| I also talked to them that they can self talk to encourage themselves to try something new or something that may be hard for them.... Like hopping on one foot... Eddie self talked by saying... I can do it.... I can do it.... |

| Carson, Charlie S and Tristan got a chance to be investigators today Earlier in the week we talked about what the trees look like in the summer I showed them a picture on the smartboard and then I talked about the parts of the tree and the colors they see. I asked them to choose 3 crayons before going outside These 3 got a chance to go out and investigator the trees and then drew what they saw |
