today during morning table work time!

 writing center....
so much community learning
happening too... as the kids around
each other discussed the
letters in their own
names

Jesus Time.....
We have combined Jesus Time and Seconds steps
this week because it has been a great
opportunity to talk about feelings.
Abraham and Sarah probably felt a lot
of different things when God told Abraham
to move far away.

Today we concentrated on Sad
what makes us sad and then what can we do when we
are sad

I writing down what everyone says
and then when we are done... I will put it all
together so you can see what your child said

Then during center time..... the children were
finding new friends to play with

Dominic was snack manager

Today I introduced these pockets
with each child's name and picture on it.
I told the kids we could use these
to write notes to each other...
I then had each child come
over and pick a name out of the bowl
and tell us what the letters
were and whose name it was
(if they didn't know...the picture
on the pockets helped)

Everyone was very excited to hear
their name being spelled!!

Colbie and Ryan told me they
were pretending this was a car and
they were driving

Brody loves to create and wants to keep
added to his creation everyday...

So creative.......
colored tape and popsicle sticks
can become anything you want it to be!

Way to go Teegan!!

Right at the end of the day
Dominic came over and said,
" Look Mrs Oswald, I found the girl
I'm going to marry!"
For the last 10 mins of the Day..they
were inseparable!

What I love most about
these cute stories is
that the children formed new friendships
today with kids they have been in class
with for the past month....
it was so awesome to see!!
