Morning Table Time Work

Thank You Carson's Family
for our new play doh

Getting ready to start Jesus Time

This week we learned about Noah
and God's Promise...
God sent a rainbow to remind us that HE always
keeps His promises!

Our puppets helped us today...

Our puppets helped us learn how to be good listeners
while on the carpet

outside time

Tristan was so excited to play with the wheel
ballow today!

Lining up to go in BUT also getting
drinks from our water bottles!
It was HOT outside today!

Reading before snack
Carly was excited to
sit by me today

Sabrina was our Prayer leader

Travis was our snack manager

He didn't know everyones name
so he pointed to quiet friends

SHAVING CREAM:

The children love to practice
our letters in shaving cream

I am still introducing letters that
only need lines to be made
BIG LINE
LITTLE LINE

This week the letter was E

Trente is very proud of his E

Evie gets lots of practice
making E's

Brody was excited to make his E

Sabrina

Carly

Eddie

Some of my friends were
ready to move on make the other
letters that we had
learned about previously

L . and F
are two other letters we have learned about
that only need lines
to be made

Carson had a great time exploring the
shaving cream
and making lines
great steps to get ready to make the lines
into letters

Tristan

Charlie

Colton

Carly

Evie was ready to make other letters too!

which encouraged others at her table
to make D's too!

Carly says Look at
my E!

Evie wrote her name

                                              Practicing with Scissors
Colton helped me demonstrate how you can help your child cut with scissors.
This can be tricky...... lots of things to know how to do.... hold the scissors correctly, use your other hand as a helper hand.... thumbs up and open and close with the hand holding the scissors.  And then doing all this together!! It can be hard work!  So if you have your child stand in front of you like in the picture ....you can help demonstrate all of the above. It is difficult for a preschooler to know what to do when they are sitting across from you trying to watch.  Next time you use scissors with your child and they need help...try this method!

Exercise Time...
Brody was the exercise Leader today
Lots of friends were very interested in
which one he would choose today!

Running In Place!!

This class loves CREATING!
Sabrina created this and described it
as a thing you put things into!

She hung it on the wall and went to do another
activity.  When she walked away...it fell off the wall
Unfortunately not caught with pictures...
2 friends immediately went to her rescue.
Brody and Evie got more tape and told Sabrina not to worry
they would put it back up for her!!  I LOVE this!!
TEAMWORK!!!
