Another way we can be good listeners is to use
an Attent-o-scope

I should the kids they could use their hands to
make their own attent-o-scope

Cup your hands and hold up to one eye
(like a telescope)

An attent-o-scope helps us pay close attention
on important things.  It shuts out the other things
around that can take our focus off who is talking.

Everyone did a great job with their attent-o-scope and
then focusing on whoeever was talking
