MORNING WORK

Play Invitations
a way to set up play material
that invites child to play
and use new materials

Pipe Cleaners
we are going to construct a class
chandelier
Thank you to Hannah's mom
for the orange play doh
and awesome
(plastic) leaves
the children enjoyed
making leave prints
and designs in the play doh
LOTS OF BEADING
our chandelier is really

The children got to add their
bead work to the chandelier as
they finished(beading)

Morning Meeting
Wyatt was our attendance

He counted 0 friends didn't come to school
and 15 friends did come to school
YAY!! everyone was at
school today!!!

I read the story of

Adam and Eve
We had one extra job today
and Nathaniel really wanted to do
an extra job!
So he was happy to be
our YOGA INSTRUCTOR

SECOND STEPS:
we looked closely at this card
the 2 children on this card
had been playing blocks
but now it was time to clean up.
One did and the other kept
playing!
We talked about how it is hard sometimes to stop
playing and follow the directions
but sometime
SELF TALK
can help
(repeating the directions quietly
to yourself might reminded you what to do)
KINDNESS CHART
Today we had so many friends
show kindness to one another and friends
pointing out how friends were being
kind...I introduced the
KINDNESS CHART
It is something I do in my classroom every
year and didn't have it in my
plans to introduce today
BUT
so many friends
were just been so KIND
I explained to the children
whenever someone does something
kind for some one else
they can write their name
on the chart
many friends were so
kind and did
thoughtful things for others in the class today
Clark was a door holder today
Jace was other door holder today
Aiden was the gate keeper
Mila and Jemma really enjoy
playing together
Mason was very proud
of himself today
Great climbing and jumping
Hazel invited me
to play in the bamboo with her
and a few others

During snack, Jemma helped a friend
open her snack...very kind and she got to
put her name on our kindness chart
Today Jemma was our Teacher

The children enjoy getting to "call"
on one another

MYSTERY BAG
I will alternate doing
Mystery Bag on Monday and Tues
so everyone gets a chance to do it
In our Mystery Bag, I have clues of what
the new letter will be..... I also put the LINES
the are needed to make this letter
We talked about each word and what the
beginning sound is...
I asked anyone of they
could make the letter
they thought it was from
the lines
MANY friends raised their
hands
Charlie came up and
made the letter F
for us
Then many friends shared word they know
start with F
I then showed a GREAT short song
about LINES.......
I will keep introducing more about lines
and how lines are everywhere
and we can use lines to make many
things

Charlie and Aiden wanted to write
cards
Matthew, Nathaniel and Wyatt went to lego table
LINE color sheets.... to cut or color
whichever the children prefer
THNAK YOU
SUCH pretty play Doh
Mila brought us pink and purple
and she chose PINK play doh
for us to play with today!
Hazel wanted to write a letter
to Nora today
Aiden got out a ruler and told
me he was making lines!!
Hannah and Claire wanted to work
more on our chandelier
