We then talked about going to the
church for chapel
I prepared the children what
church will be like...
I talked them about the big
stained glass Jesus...
Jesus has his arms open wide
welcoming all the children
I told the children how much Jesus loves
each and everyone of us.....
Hannah was our YOGA INSTRUCTOR
She chose OWL POSE
Everyone did a great job relaxing
with the OWL POSE
For our
second Steps time
we practice our song to reminds how to
have our bodies ready to listen
Eyes are watching
Ears are listening
Voices quiet
bodies calm
Several friends volunteered to led the class
WOW!! I was impressed with how well everyone did!!
Several more kiddos volunteered than I got pictures of....

their families and show the pictures to their
friends!

STORY TIME
I showed the children the cover
and asked them to predict what the story
will be about.....
Try this sometime with your child
It is so fun
a great way to build language skills
and
It is a great pre reading skill
---- learning how to identify context
clues by looking at the pictures
The children all agreed this story was going
to be about a monster going
to school!!
Then I asked
do you think this is a TRUE story
or a PRETEND story
All agreed it would be a pretend
story (fiction)
Clark was our Librarian
Cameron was our weather helper
Jace was our prayer leader
Charlie our snack manager
SNACK
A few children started pointing to their snack mats
identifying the letters in their names
SO then we starting talking about how many
letters each person has in their name
And we talked about how Hannah's
name is the same backwards and forward
Addie and Hannah
Relaxing waiting for others to finish snack
Claire was our teacher assistant

we practiced writing T's
on the SMARTBOARD
CENTER TIME
A few more children did their
self portraits today
I just love watching the children
look at themselves in the mirror

We got the fence for the Pine Yard
So we had to try out our new area!!
Collecting pinecones and putting them in this old pool
We are So thankful for our new fenced in area!!
