By the time I got to the 

carpet most if the class had put

their rock in the CLASS FAMILY BOX

Clark was our attendance helper

Clark told us 1 friend is NOT at school today

15 friends are at school

Hazel was our invocation leader

We have a big box to

decorate to be our ARK

we talked about acting out our story

of NOAH

what roles we need people to do

Like Noah, a narrater,

lots of animals

I asked the children to think about what animal 

they might want to be

and try to wear that color tomorrow

(not a necessity...we have scarfs we

will also use for costumes as well as all the

masks we have been creating

We looked closely at this picture

we talked about what we thought this

little girl needed and then how she could 

solve her problem

The children decided Gloria, the little girl in the

picture, needed help getting her jacket on

Many friends gave me suggestions on how 

she could solve her problem

Most decided she could ask a friend

or a teacher

We practiced using a clear and polite

words

I emphasized POLITE

Mason was concerned for this spider

he tried to rescue it but it wouldn't

get on his stick SO I had to rescue it

(did I mention I am not a spider fan

oh the things we do for this sweet little people)

Wyatt invited me to eat at his store

somehow the food they were serving
