 16 friends at school

Since today is Chapel

I didn't do a Jesus time story 

BUT we did

talk about SCHOOL FAMILIES!

I showed the children these rocks and before

I could even say it

A friend said

They are all different

sizes and shapes!!

EXACTLY!!!

The rocks are ALL different sizes, shapes

and colors.

JUST like our Class!!

WE are all different

but when we put them all together 

we make 1 class!!

A SCHOOL FAMILY!

And just like a HOME FAMILY

we take care of each other

we are nice to each other 

and are 

always KIND

So every morning

we will put our rocks

in the special box

and pledge

I WILL BE KIND TODAY!!

Each day you can choose any rock

you would like

None of the rocks have names

on them because

no 1 rock belongs to one

person(like all the

toys and items in

our classroom)

they all belong to our whole class

we share and take turns with

the things in our room

This was by far 

one of my favorite moments of the day

Each one of these kiddos 

pledged to be kind

and said it so loud and 

clear

It was awesome!!

Also many friends do go

out of their way to be kind

and got their names on the KINDNESS CHART!!

But everyone really had 

a KIND day!!

Even the teachers PLEDGED to

be KIND today!!

OUTSIDE

The class was so interested

in our SCHOOL FAMILY 

conversation we only

had about 10 mins

to play outside before chapel

He decided since it was "cold" out

we even had to add another chart

to fit all the names

These gears are so fun

These kiddos figure out how

to put the "gears" on, so when you 

spin one....they ALL spin

so we went out a few minutes

early so we could a little more outside time
