Birthday Girl

Hazel was also our attendance helper

Hazel told us 1 friend didn't come to school

and 7 friends did

Yesterday I introduced

SCHOOL FAMILIES:

I wanted to talk about it again today

with the kiddos who were not here yesterday

I showed the children these rocks 

The rocks are ALL different sizes, shapes

and colors.

JUST like our Class!!

WE are all different

but when we put them all together 

we make 1 class!!

A SCHOOL FAMILY!

And just like a HOME FAMILY

we take care of each other

we are nice to each other 

and are 

always KIND

Each day as the children come to the carpet 

they will be able to choose a rock and put it in our

school family box and PLEDGE 

I will be KIND today!

Today I wanted to get a photo

of each child putting a rock

in the box and saying

I will be KIND today!

Everyone was excited to chose a rock

and very loud and clearly say: I will be KIND today!

Hazel volunteered to be our snack manager

SO MANY friends being KIND and

getting to sign their name to our 

kindness chart

Charlie volunteered to be

our teacher assistant today

Then we used the lines to

make E's

CENTER TIME

Last week we acted out the bible story

of Adam and Eve

A few days ago, one of the children

asked if we could act out Noah

So the children are making their own

props

Charlie is making a mask of Noah

and then LOTS of animals

Nora and Hazel also helped

paint the SCHOOL FAMILY box

Charlie found puzzle pieces in our loose parts for art

and really wanted to put it together

He did actually find 2 pieces that fit together

but someone gave me an old puzzles to use for art

and I am not sure if all the pieces fit together or

not

SO....... I went and grabbed a puzzle that I knew

had all 

the pieces !!

These 3 work hard and got it together

Mila was our Superintendent

Lots of friends working together

to clean dramatic play

Jemma was our exercise leader

She chose ARM CIRCLES
