Morning Work

Aiden was our 

attendance helper

He counted 2 friends not here

and 11 friends at school

CREATION STORY CUBES

Cameron was so excited to be the

YOGA INSTRUCTOR

He chose downward dog

SECOND STEPS:

We talked again about how to have a LISTENING BODY

EYES are watching

EARS are listening

VOICES are quiet

BODY calm

And then we learned about ATTENT-A-SCOPES

a way to focus our attention on the

person talking

 we made ATTENT-A-SCOPES from our

hands and then focused our attention towards whoever

was talking

Then as friends were focusing their attention on whoever

was speaking we thought of a few ideas for safety rules for our 

classroom

Addie was a door holder

Pastor Rouland Led us today

Pastor Rouland talked to us about PEACE

Times that we feel peace and that JESUS can

bring us Peace

I introduced this book today at 

story time

A great book to talk about

feelings and emotions

Nora was our weather helper

(maybe she chose snowy first but then

decided SUNNY)

Teddy was our Prayer Leader

Charlie was our snack manager

Carson was our teacher assistant

Did a great job calling

on friends who knew the letter he pointed to!

Today we did a Language Arts Assessment:

I asked the children to draw what they remembered from

the Creation story and then I wrote the words they said

(a few friends missed the story last week SO I will give then a few days to hear

it this week before asking then)

And a few friends I still needed to get a name assessment

Boys wanted a picture of

the train tracks they created

Wyatt was the SUPERINTENDENT for his job

Nora was our exercise leader today
