Morning Work
We began our day with
our journals

Then after journaling

the children could choose another morning

work activity
Charlie LOVED creating with

marshmallows and tooth picks!

So creative

The picture doesn't show it super well

but he made a pinwheel/windmill

he kept spinning it

it looked very cool!

 A great game to reinforce

numbers!!
1st roll the die

2nd write the number you rolled

3rd count out that number of snowballs
A few more friends writing in their journals

JESUS TIME
Nora was our invocation leader

Zippy came today

The class got to teach Zippy that
you are never too small or young to pray
Jesus hears all our prayers

Then we learned more about when

Jesus healed a blind man

Wyatt was our yoga instructor

He chose Tree Pose
Great Job!

SECOND STEPS
Always learning about how to understand our
feeling and how to ask
someone for help if you need it

OUTSIDE TIME

Story Time: All You Need For A Snowman

Wyatt was also the librarian today
Teagan was our weather helper
Ella was the prayer leader

Leo was our snack manager
The children are enjoying the change in snack routine

we'll go back to using towels whenever
the weather is nice enough to eat outside

Hand Writing Without Tears

Talking about the letter D

Sharing words they know that starts with D

Next using the Big Curve and Big Line to make the D

CENTER TIME

The children we interested in the ice

they found on the playground

and over the weekend I happen to make

ice cube paint
So it was the perfect day to paint with ice cubes

(that had liquid water coloring

frozen in it)

Wyatt was so excited to see on the dinosaurs stuff available

for center time
Leo and Wyatt were so happy to play

together today!

Wyatt and Leo spelling their

names with magnets
** well Leo said, " I want to spell a

different name...so he threw in a W"

Small group activity

I asked each child how many letters are in your name

then I asked them to count out that many lids.

Next we painted each lid white. After the lids dry

we will write our names---- one letter on each lid. Then the children can have the lids to

practice spelling their names

Charlie worked hard on his creation

he wanted to make something that could

follow him!!

I love the creativity!

Exercise Time.. Ella was our leader

She chose SIT-UPS
