HAPPY MONDAY

Looking forward to seeing everyone this week
It will be nice to feel like we are back in our normal routine
and YAY for warmer weather

New color sheets... crosses... to help us

think about the season of LENT
A new game.. ROLL A RAINBOW
Use the die to roll and number then put

that color cross on your board
For example number 1 is red
number 2 is orange
etc

Luke was happy to be able to use magnets during

morning work
Fun and a great problem solving activity
LOCKS AND KEYS

Magnetic curves and lines

to form letters
Matthew enjoying the sticks with
velcro to create things
Laura was playing a letter matching game

JESUS TIME

We reviewed a little bit from the 2 days we had last week
Then we talked more about the season of Lent
and why we celebrate it.
We also talked about why it last 40n days and what
color the churched use to represent Lent
Purple

Ella chose a yoga pose for us
Downward dog

Then we put ALL our snow gear on and played outside!!!!
SO much fun to have so much snow

to play in but not be freezing cold!

Tristan and Laura playing on the slide together

we tried walking through the snow to help

get some of the mud off
Story Time.... a book about the Sun and the planets

Aiden was super excited to be the Librarian today

we are adding a new part to our weather calendar

sometimes the kids ask about the "blank" spots on the calendar

which would be Sat/Sun or days off...... so now we have

squares(a Saturday Square, a Sunday square and a No School

square)

Claire helped with prayer

Brody was our snack manager

Luke was our teacher assistant

The children do a really great job

raising their hands to say the

letter Luke is pointing to

MYSTERY BAG.... they kiddos were so excited for

mystery letter today

the pictures are of a penguin, pig and pool
Then I gave another clue... one big line and one small curve

are needed to make this letter
Luke was excited he knew the answer and came over to show

the class how to form the letter...

our mystery letter is P
Then friends raised their hands to share words they know

that start with P

Next we did SMALL GROUP work

I divided the class into 3 groups today

Mrs. Larimore worked with a group on cutting

I worked with a group with reinforces writing

our names and the 3rd group worked independently

with play doh

Small group was a huge success!!!
everyone did so great!!!

Center Time

Carly decided to work on writing her ABC"S

She wanted to use this chart to help her

Great idea!!

Claire was our exercise leader today
She chose Run In Place

Brody had asked if we could do the color song

and I told him if we had time after prayer

The color song is a song where you stand up and point to a color

the color they are singing about

the kids love this song but it is a little long

and we ran out of time to do the entire song

but we got through most of it before we had to

go home
