Second Steps

We learned about 

playing fairly

we talked about what it means to be FAIR

In this picture both children want the

cash register

In our classroom everyone always wants to 

play the xylophone

we did a little role playing

and talked about how we could play

fairly. We decided that one person

could play the xylophone first

then after a few minutes, they 

could switch and that would be fair

Next we did yoga

Today the children

had fun making a 

"volcano" 

they took water from our

rock creek and put it into 

a hole

STORY TIME: STARGAZERS

The children were very interested

in this book. Lots of questions came up

about how the Earth rotates around the sun.

That the sun is a big star.

That Earth rotates around the sun

takes about 1 year.(during certain seasons

we are closer(summer) or further away(winter) from the sun)

and so much more.......

Wyatt was the Librarian today

We started talking about Charlie shirt... which had the entire

 Solar System on it

Carly was the weather helper

Luke was prayer leader

Charlie was snack manager

SNACK

Claire was the teacher assistant

SHOW AND SHARE

Charlie brought 3 babies for

his show and share

Charlie wanted to make sure

that everyone got a chance to hold 

each one too

when I said maybe it isn't a good

idea to pass them around

he said, "don't worry

mommy said she will wipe them off"

😃😃😃😃

And he already has it planned what

he will bring next time

The children LOVE show and share!

CENTER TIME

Wyatt went to trains first

Claire working hard on her 

project for her grandparents

Charlie working on his project too

Ella and Tristan worked together 

in the writing center

Claire and Carly playing babies

they took their babies to a party

I didn't get to see Charlie's finished

project yet, but he asked for brown paper

for the hot chocolate

Laura was enjoying the animal stickers and drawing

Brody made a hover craft that turns into a wheel chair

Exercise Time:

Charlie chose Push Ups

So during morning meeting

Wyatt brought up Cheetah's

we talked about how fast they are

So we looked up a YouTube video

on how fast they really are

Cheetah's can go from 0-60 in 30 seconds(per the YouTube video)
