Sun shining and a
great day to be at school
Leo started his day with coloring
Charlie started with the magnets
Luke joined Charlie as soon as he got to school
Now Leo is trying out a new game
Roll A Rainbow
Great for number recognition
and one to one correspondence
Ella is enjoying new choices for coloring sheets
another new activity
this one reinforces memory
and matching
as well as one of the cards
reinforces number order
Matthew really enjoyed these sticks yesterday
and was excited to play with them again
and show me he was making some of the same things from
yesterday!!
Brody playing the new game
Roll A Rainbow
LOCKS AND KEYS
the children enjoy this
and it is great way to teach
problem solving skills
CHAPEL TODAY
Mrs Aslin, a Kindergarten teacher here was our leader
OUTSIDE
The Sunshine feels so good
some of my friends were even getting HOT
To help us get ready for the story we are going to write about our
grandparents, we read this story today
Brody was our librarian
Charlie our weather helper
Luke our prayer leader
SNACK
Leo did a great job as our teacher assistant
I took this first picture then after about a minute
everyone started thinking of MORE and MORE P words
Then we used the lines and curves
to form the letter P
CENTER TIME
a few friends still had a
cutting activity and
finish up our name activity
This name activity started weeks ago
Valentines parties and winter has slowed down the completion!
But today we finished it !
We started by counting how many letters we have in our names
then we counting out that many lids, then the children painted them
Now that all our lids are dried, we are writing one letter from our
name on each lid
Then we will put the lids in a jar
and use this to practice our names
Ella and Nora worked a long time
together with these magnets!!
Lots of great teamwork and creative
building!
Laura spent a long time drawing(my little Pony stuff)
Matthew spent most of center time
creating with the trains!
These bears became very popular
today, Several kiddos wanted a turn here.
Great way to reinforce one to one
correspondence> As well as counting and
beginning addition
Exercise time
Toe Touches
