Our puppets, J Jay and Rosetta
were playing together and Rosetta accidentally
ran into J Jay on the slide and J Jay got very angry
we talked about what to do when we feel very angry
Then we practiced making angry faces
INDOOR RECESS
we played a game
I made a winter movement cube/die
I rolled the die and the children
made that motion
we used the whole classroom so we could really move around
Some of the motions were
waddle like a penguin
flap like a snowy owl
ice skate like skater
fall slowly like a snowflake
freeze like an icicle
walk like a polar bear
then each child got a chance to roll the die too
