Morning Work

The kids were so excited to come in and see the ants 

have been making tunnels

JESUS TIME:

We started a new story yesterday

The story of Moses

Charlie helped out and was our 

Yoga Instructor(because no one chose it today)

SKI POSE

SECOND STEPS:

We talked about how we thought

this boy, Ethan is feeling

Several said SURPRISED right away

We talked about different things that

makes us feel surprised

OUTSIDE

Today we got out the pot, pans, spoons

and bowls for our outdoor kitchen

The children were very excited about this

When it was time to clean up, the girls piled the

supplies in the wheel barrow and 

wheeled it back to where we store it

The tunnel is getting longer

I watched them a little after school

these ants are amazingly hard worker

They would take 1 piece of sand and move

it to the top and then go back into the tunnel and do it again!

No wonder it is such a slow process

We read about beetles from this book today that Mrs Haun is

letting us borrow

Brody was so happy to get the Entomologist job today

He came and reported his findings:

The ants are digging tunnels

Charlie was our weather helper today

Teagan was our prayer leader

Nora was sit by the teacher

Carly was the snack manager

Enjoying the nice weather before it gets too cold to 

eat outside

Brody likes to "fly" me places... today we went to Colorado 

and then Wyatt suggested Mars

So Brody took us to Mars too

Carly helped pass out sticks

2 Big lines 

and 1 little line

Practicing our A's

Now we are shaking the lines in the air

Then they put them back down to make A's again

Luke and Charlie helped gather the lines

Nora got to use the pointer today and point

to the letters. She pointed to a few and did a great job of

asking the class what each letter is

Then we practiced making the A sound and coming up

with words that start with A

CENTER TIME:
