SECOND STEPS

Today we talked about how we have learned how to be a good

listener

Eyes are watching

ears are listening

voices quiet

bodies calm

we then lused our Attent A Scopes

to look closely at this picture

How is this boy, Alex, feeling

I asked everyone to put their thumbs up

if they knew how Alex was feeling

We then talked about how we knew he was happy

Smiling, eyes look bright

then I asked the children to put their hands on their cheeks

and to smile...

I asked them if they could feel their hands go up

even our cheeks move when we smile!

Ella led us with the invocation

We learned about a man named Jacob who had 12 sons

He loved his son, Joseph most of all!

Throughout this bible story LOTS of different emotions happened

I asked the children how they think Jospeh felt 

when his father loved him so much

Then Jacob gave Joseph a beautiful coat of many colors

again Happy

But how did the brothers feel

we learned what the word JEALOUS means

Then the brothers did something really mean

and then lied to their father

we talked about lying and also

how Jacob, Joseph's dad felt

when the brothers told him something really bad 

happened to Joseph!

OUTSIDE TIME

A little chilly BUT beautiful outside!

Aiden got to sign his name on the KINDNESS CHART today

He was KIND to a friend who fell! As soon as the child fell Aiden was right there

asking if he was OK..... SO SWEET!

STORY TIME

Brody was our librarian

Carly was the weather helper

Tristan was sit by the teacher but I also

asked him to led us in prayer

Carly was kind to a friend during snack
