MORNING WORK
Everyone came in a little slow
this morning.
We heard there was an accident.
Several kiddos came in talking about.
So I just talked to the children
about whenever they see an accident
they can take a minute to pray for the families
who are involved..
it can be very simple
Dear God,
Please be with the families involved
in this accident
A few friends prayed
for the families involved today at
our end of day prayer time

The children love practicing cutting
Carly was waiting for Brody... She made him a picture

I retold the story of Abraham. Abraham loved God and was very faithful
God made a promise to Abraham
Abraham was SO happy
when God kept his promise of a child
for him and his wife
We practice making HAPPY faces
I LOVE these smiles....

We learned about our Kindness Chart
I like to encourage the children to be KIND to each other.....
We brainstormed ways we can be KIND and I told the children
they can sign their names on the chart when they are kind to
someone else... I challenged them to see how fast we can fill the
chart and how many charts can we fill up this year!
They had lots of great ideas
So sweet..... Charlie helping Nora.....

The kids really enjoyed having Mrs Haun come today
Luke was our weather helper
I asked the kids why they thought
I took all the weather pictures
off the chart...
Brody answered with

The children are excited to play with the entomologist kit

Sit ups are really hard and requires CORE strength!!
They did SUCH a good job!!!
We only did 5... but that was really enough!!! LOL
Showing the children the honeycomb from our bee expert
Right before we prayed we chatted about our BUG ZOO!! So much
excitement!!! The children came up with some
ideas for how our classroom should look for the
Zoo..... trees and grass as well as cages
or someone suggested a kennel
then talk of our bugs for the zoo....
then one friend asked
Is this Zoo FICTION or NONFICTION?
What a great question
so I said, "Well,
our bugs are going to be pretend(our own creations), and we
will make the grass and trees from supplies in the classroom."
He then said, "oh, so it will be FICTION!"
I just love to see hw little minds work!!!
End of day prayer
One friend came over and told me that Charlie had helped him put his
backpack on. YAY! Charlie put his name on the kindness chart!!
Such sweet friends we have in our classroom!
