CHAPEL

Paster Nelson from Chapel of the Cross

Led our chapel today

He talked about how we are ALL
SINNER---EVERYONE!!  He demonstrated with
rocks---and if we had to carry around all those rocks (SINS)
everyday--it would be really heavy!!
So the good news is--- we don't have to carry around all that sin
everyday.
God loves us so much that he sent His son
Jesus to die on a cross for the sins of ALL of us.
If we ask God for forgiveness He will forgive us!!

Ella was our offering helper

Lincoln was our librarian

This is the story he chose....

We looked at the picture of the cover
and as a class we discussed if
this book was going to be a
true story (non fiction)
pretend story (fiction)

Most said non fiction but some weren't sure
but after we read it everyone
agreed this was a true story

CENTERS

Friends were excited to drive
on the roads that got created yeaterday

Mrs Drury worked with a small group of friend
working on
GROSS MOTOR

Children laid on a bump dot/chair
(circle with air and bumpy on one side)
Then they were asked to pick up a ring with their left hand
and cross over their bodies and put it over a cone.....

for most this was a challenge...more challenging than
they thought it would be....
Some wanted to watch a few times before doing it
some tried it and were done after one try
and some did it over and over until they mastered it!!

My goal is to incorporate more gross motor into each
week

This activity was great for
BALANCE
CORE STRENGTH
CROSSING THE MID LINE

Next time I will try to get pictures
of everyone doing it

I worked with friends
writing their names...
we pointed to each letter and identified it
worked on starting your letters at the top
and writing one letter
after the other(for those who are ready for that)
