SNEEK A PEEK WEEK

Most of the children

enjoyed showing

their moms and dads

our classroom and the morning

routine.

A few were a little thrown

off their routine----which is

totally normal

But overall it went very smoothly

and thank you for "reading" your child's

needs and staying the amount

of time for your child's needs

New Morning Work

Roll- An-Apple Tree

Each child has a die

and takes a turn rolling.

Whatever number they get, they

put that many apples in their tree.

Ben volunteered to

Our Jesus Time Story started

with Zippy

Zippy was upset because he was 

mad with his brother. Zippy

told us his brother tricked him. Which than caused

 him to lose out on a surprised with his mom.

When he found out his brother tricked him

Zippy hurt his brother. then Zippy got into trouble.

We talked about what Zippy could have done

when he was upset instead of 

hurting his brother.

the class had lots of 

good ideas..

I told the class that the situation with

Zippy and his brother reminds me of

todays bible story.

Isaac (who we learned about last week)

is all grown up and now an old man.

He has twins sons, Esau and Jacob.

Isaac is going to give Esau the blessing.

But Jacob wants it and tricks their dad

into giving Jacob the blessing. When Esau

learns about this he is very angry

and wants to hurt Jacob. Jacob leaves town

before this happens.

Sometimes we may do things that make

our siblings angry BUT we should

ask for forgiveness. 

We said a prayer

to ask for help when we 

do things to make our brother/sisters angry.

We also asedk for help saying I am Sorry or 

I forgive you!

Ellie volunteered to be our

yoga instructor

We took a close look at this picture.

In this picture the boy, Danny,

is just sitting on the carpet when all his friends are

at the table following the teachers directions.

We discussed  ways to help

us remember the directions (self talk).

Also, if we don't know the directions we talked about ways

we can find out

-- by looking at what our friends are doing

-asking a friend

- asking a teacher
