HAPPY MONDAY

helps reinforce 1 to 1 counting, number recognition
and number awareness

Another counting game...
add however many leaves or acorns
to each tree

Make a pumpkin

Makee a card

Pumpkins
golf tees
and hammers.....

This is what Foster chose
to do first

Choosing a job....

Many friends chose to use
the hammers, golf tees
and pumpkins first

Another challenge to this activity

DOING it standing......
it is much harder to work at an activity
standing BUT so GOOD for little muscles!!!

Ben and Luke chose this
counting game

Charleigh then wanted to make

a pumpkin

Foster started with the tree counting
 game BUT then Winston invited
him to play
Tic Tac Toe with him

Lots of friends enjoying the
play doh

Maisie chose to make a
pumpkin

Foster was excited to be
our attendance helper today

We had 2 friends (plus Mrs Koenen
not at school today)
Mrs Koenen is traveling this week

Ben was our
invocation leader

This will be our
Jesus Time Story

Zippy joined us today
Zippy came to school feeling
mad.sad, frustrated.
We talked to him about why he was feeling this way and he told
us he felt this way because his sister
got s special gift from their grandparents
and Zippy didn't get anything!
Zippy felt like his sister was acting
like she was MORE special than he is...

This made Zippy feeling all sorts of different ways...

we went around the circle and everyone
shared how he/she would feel if his/her
brother/sister got something special and he/she
did not!!
The children did a great job sharing.

I reminded Zippy that sometime he might get
something special that his siter does't get and no matter what he
is always special. We talked about the ONE person
who always thinks each one of us is
special no matter what!!
GOD!! God has called each one of us
to be a part of HIS special family and we are always
special to HIM!!

Than we read the story about
Joseph and his colorful coat.......

Charleigh volunteered to
be our YOGA Instructor

SMALL GROUP

1st group got to choose between
a few centers

2nd group got to
play UNO with Mrs Drury
(our sub and Ella's mom)
😊😊💜💜

3rd group got to do a
Science Experiment with me

SINK or FLOAT

we started with one item at a time

Candy Corn
we talked about things that are
heavy than the water
will SINK
if it is lighter (or filled with air)
it will FLOAT

Each child got to make a prediction (guess)
and mark their sheets

then we dropped the candy corn in
Everyone had
their own cups to see what would happen

Then we marked the results......

We also tested marshmallow

a Leaf

then a marble

The children LOVED this
and were so excited to see what
would happen

Center Time

I put the fire truck/house  away and
brought something NEW

The children also said they wanted to learn
more about animals...
so I have this animal (doll) house
with a school house and camping.
This class also loves to play school,
so I thought they would enjoy the school
house stuff included with these animals

PLUS, several children expressed interested in

MONSTER TRUCKS, so I brought this book about

Monster Trucks as well as several

Monster trucks!!!

trains was also a popular area

This group LOVED the

monster trucks!

Maisie was our
superintendent

Lincoln volunteered to be our
exercise leader

running in place

PRAYER REQUESTS

We had time for
Tricky Mouse

Sometimes the children get disappointment if I
don't choose them to guess...
SOMETIMES friends guess where
TRICKY MOUSE is before everyone
gets a turn.
this is hard but also one of the most important
parts of playing a game....
learning to be disappointed when the game
doesn't go your way and learning about turn taking
and that you might just have to wait until the next time(we ran out of time) we play
to get a turn ( I let the children know we can
play again tomorrow)

Austin chose
Time to Bail, Snail!
