We read the story from the 

bible and then we acted out the story

The children LOVED this(acting)

I even had children who didn't want to do it

the last time participate today.

This can be hard to feel comfortable standing in front of

everyone BUT todays story needed everyone...

The brothers are angry and jealous

Later Joseph has a dream.....

He told his family about the dream of them bowing

down to him

This made them very MAD!!!

They came up with a plan...

They threw him down into a well

But then they saw some people(traders0

and decided to sell Joseph

They took off his coat and sold him into slavery

The traders taking Joseph away.....

The brothers came (lied)and told Jacob that

Joseph was dead...

Jacob fell to the ground in sadness.....

Our story doesn't end here......

God is with Joseph(like God is always with us)

 and we will find

out more next week...

PROJECT IDEAS>>>>

Starting to form more of a plan...

So for the last several weeks I have been putting

items out from the ideas the children suggested

for what they wanted to learn more about.....

One things that the children seem to 

really grab onto were

vehicles with wheels

(they loved the firetrucks, race cars and are

especially excited over the monster trucks)

SO today I decided to ask the class....

what do you know that has WHEELS....

below is what everyone said and 

everyone  had ideas.....

so fun to see the class get excited over something

they can share....

Next I asked them 

What do you want to know about

things that have WHEELS...

this question is a little harder...

But we will continue to talk about

it and see what they think of....

Watching a project form is exciting and I never

know which direction it will go...

CENTER TIME

we talked about keeping the monster trucks

and race cars on the road...

I told them they can build a road

or

use the ramps or blocks to make a road

So then talking with the children about where

 the road is... I suggested we could use

tape to make the road on the floor.....

They children REALLY liked that idea......

So the creating of the roads has begun.....
