BIRTHDAY READER

So fun!!
Emmy's mom came and read to
our class!!

Then Student Council
came to our class and talked
to us about ways to keep
our body healthy
for RED RIBBON WEEK

Then we moved over to the blue carpet
to do attendance

Kennedy was our attendance helper

Cecilia volunteered
to be our
invocation leader

We retold parts of yesterdays
bible story

Yesterday we learned about Joseph
(one of Jacob's sons)
Jacob had 12 sons but Joseph was
his favorite!! He gave Joseph a
colorful coat, which made his brothers
jealous. Joseph also had
dreams where his brothers bowed
down to him.
This mad the brothers really mad
and they planned to hurt Joseph
(instead the sold him into slavery )

As I retold parts
of the story we decided if
it was a HAPPY, SAD
or mad part

OUTSIDE

So thankful to the all the preschool
families who were able
to help clean up our playground...
Looks so nice and now we can walk on this path

lots of fresh mulch!

And dirt for digging

Calvin is our librarian
today!!

I went to the library yesterday
and got us new books!!

This is the book Calvin
chose for
STORY TIME

She was able to lead
this prayer with very little help
from me!!

3rd group
got to do an
experiment with me

a book

SCIENCE EXPERIMENT

SINK OR FLOAT

WE MADE
PREDICTIONS AND THEN RECORDED
THE RESULTS

we talked about if something
is lighter than the water
than it will float
if it is heavier
than it will sink

Some things we tried
candy corn---- sank
marshmallow---- floated
leaf--- floated
marble--- sank

Then we did
CENTER TIME

A few friends from yesterday
asked if they
could play UNO

Games are so fun to
play with
preschoolers

I put out a mouse/animal
"doll" house --- it includes a school house
 and camping as well
as an ice cream truck

The children are really
enjoying this

Emmy had a really
fun time in blocks....
maybe NOT as much fun
when it cam time to clean up

BUT many friends and especially
FOSTER helped!! I enlisted his
help and he was very helpful!

yoga instructor

Arwen was our
exercise leader

Jumping Jacks
