Will was excited that weather helper was still available
He asked many times throughout the morning about when he gets to do his job

Will was very eager to do some painting too (and then at the end of the day

he told me, "I love painting!"
Brody getting his back pack off and ready to get his day started

Brody choosing his job!
Luke is ready for his day too!!!
The children LOVE this magnetic cars and trucks
Charlie was excited to be snack manager today
Luke building with the magnet tiles
Charlie painting the sticks... we will use these for a project later

Aiden choosing his job...gate keeper

Will was having so much fun painting and he was wanted to make new

colors so I suggested he use a color sheet (white paper) so he could

see what happens when he mixed certaian colors together

Great job Brody!!

Luke and Aiden are showing Brody their work and that they put

"people" in the bottom of their creation

Too much glare, but I put the Cicada wing that a child found outside yesterday

in a picture frame SO the children could hold it and look at it up close

They were very interested in looking at it up close

 Second Steps

We reviewed how it is important to listen when the teacher (or friend)
is speaking and that is shows respect when you are listening to the person talking.

We played a game where you really have to focus your attention

They boys had SO much fun with this and were REALLY good at it!
We made our ATTENT-A-SCOPES with our hands to help us....
I showed the boys 5 items on the tray... asked them to really focus and

use their ATTENT-A-SCOPES to remember what is on the tray

GREAT ATTENT-A SCOPES... I then asked them to close their eyes..

I took one item away and they had to focus and try to remember what items were

on the tray and then tell what I took away!!
They did an AMAZING job!!!!

We played over and over and I even had to add more

items because this group of kiddos was
so good at this game

Great job using you ATTENT-A-SCOPES and

focusing on listening and playing this game!!

JESUS TIME

Today is our last day for creation

we used the story cards to retell the Creation Story and review what

God created on each day!! The boys then got a creation rock and got to match it

with the correct story card!!  Ask your kiddos tonight to retell you the story.

They had fun and did a really great job retelling the story!

OUTSIDE TIME:
Mrs Rouland, another preschool teacher, was standing outside

and these kiddos started chatting with her!
Mrs Stanglein's class, the other half day preschool teacher, was just lining up when we got to the playground

Johnny and Charlie love to see each other.. brotherly LOVE

Wheel Barrows are so FUN!!

Charlie hard at work.......

STORY TIME

If You Give a Mouse a Brownie

Luke was our librarian today

Finally what Will has been waiting for.... WEATHER HELPER!!

Invocation Leader, Brody!

Since we didn't have a prayer leader today,

I asked Brody to led us in prayer

Charlie called the friends to snack(snack manager)

SNACK

Just playing for s short time after snack..... or just those who are already

finished eating
After eating, Charlie said he was really tired... he had told us
he didn't get much sleep last night

Cookie Monster had a few Letter T words to share

LOOK AT ALL THE T WORDS THE KIDDOS SAID ALL WEEK!!

GREAT JOB!!

Aiden had a birthday last week, so today he got to do his birthday art

Working on our fine motor skills and reinforcing how to form the letters in our names....

It is hard work squeezing the glue bottle to form letters
And it is hard work taking little pieces and putting over the glue
Luke made a T with the legos........ soon everyone was eager to follow

you will see more letter T's

Aiden's bday art... if your kiddos has a summer bday
we will celebrate on their 1/2 birthday
So many T's... great job!!

Aiden and Charlie played in the dramatic play

They were serving me food..... Aiden told me this was a restaurant where the food didn't cost any money. And then he said it was a restaurant where we could eat inside because it didn't have any germs!(just totally the world we are living in today)
But I told him I would be happy to come eat in his restaurant!

Charlie... I told him he looked like a MOVIE STAR!!  He then had to go show
the rest of the class

CLEAN UP TIME

Exercise Time
I taught them Toe Touches!
End of day Prayer

We had a few extra minutes SO I showed the kiddos this bag of instruments

They were SO excited!!!
After I introduced 5 instruments and showed the children how to use them we only had a very short time left. I explained that today we were only going to have a chance to play with 1 and that next time we could have a chance to play with more......

Xylophone was one the everyone really wanted
but everyone was happy to use
the one they got

I made a recording....... our Friday boy group Band

If this doesn't work.... I am also going to put it on SeeSaw... which you will learn
