MORNING WORK
Ella and Caroline decided to
color to beginning their
morning
Brody joined them
Teagan getting her stuff out to put in her cubby
Caroline likes using these sticks to make letters
Charlie choosing his job
Teagan finding her rock to sign in
Teagan is using the sand to form letters
Caroline enjoyed the sand too
Luke building with bristle blocks
Matthew and Mrs Larimore checking out the jobs
Charlie using sticks and paper strips to form letters
Ella making LOTS of letters in the sand
Luke requested that I play music from the Greatest Showman
I think he may have been the only one who
know where it was from
Teagan working on forming a few letters with sticks and
the paper stripes
Luke loves to add people to his creations
SOOOOOO the kids have been enjoying
INSECTS
Another teacher brought us a grasshopper yesterday
we put it into an aquarium
Looked up what kind of food he needs
They all were super interested in watching him
And naming him
He is super big!
Here is is standing.... the kids that it looked like he was going to
climb they wall of the aquarium
The names the kids suggested..
Then each child came up and "voted" for which name they
liked the best..
It is hard to read but right now we have a 3 way tie between
Grass
Musical
Caroline
Carly was our YOGA Instructor

JESUS TIME
Teagan led us with the invocation
I read parts of the story of Adam and Eve
I also talked about SIN
We talked about how Adam and Eve sinned by
disobeying God
We then talked together about what we
thought examples of sin
were
I wrote them down inside a heart. I told the children sometimes when we
sin it fills our heart and we might feel sad for doing something we
were not suppose to do BUT we are so lucky..... GOD"S LOVE for us is
so strong that it wipes away our sins and we are FORGIVEN!!
We were lining up to go outside and Johnny's class was coming in
These 2 love it when they get to say HI!

These stones in the garden on the playground make a great path
Brody was excited to show Luke the path....
Story Time to day we read a non-fiction story about INSECTS
If anyone has any insects books at home they would like to share with us....
I think the children will really like it!!
Caroline was the weather helper
Matthew was the prayer leader
Ella was the snack manager
SNACK TIME
The kids look forward to play a few minutes after the eat
They love all the sticks and pine cones
Charlie just want to relax a few minutes after
eating
Luke though our grasshopper might like these to eat....

Then we made the letter I
The children thought of a few more letter I words
Summer Tree Observation
I showed a cute short video talking about the parts of a tree...
we then looked a pictures of a summer tree
we discussed the colors and where all the parts are (roots, trunk,
branches, leaves, etc....). I then ask the children who were not here yesterday
to choose to colors they then will help them draw a tree
when then waled outside and got to observe, touch, feel
a real tree... then we drew what we saw
