Morning Meeting

Today we started by introducing ourselves to our new friend,
Wyatt.
I was so impressed the children remembered what we practice
when meeting someone new.
We say Hi, My name is..........
and one child even added...
Hi! My name is Charlie! What is your name?
So polite!!!

Wyatt listening to everyone introduce themselves
Then we took a very minutes to share about our weekend

This is such a FUN and important part of our day.

It teaches the children to listening to one another as well as

taking turns and patience!!!
Sometime waiting your turn is hard. But I encourage the children to raise their hands if they want to share. And also to listen as their friends are talking.

Above are SO many pictures of friends raising their hands!!!!

They did such a great job with this today!!!

YOGA TIME
Nora chose Ski Pose today

JESUS TIME:

We are going to finish with creation this week.....

We have the story of creation on story cards as well as large rocks

Outside Time

Matthew was one of our door holders
The children were so happy the wheelbarrows were out today

Such strong muscles to move the tire by himself!

The children were happy the slide was not wet today!

Charlie found this bucket and filled it with logs and rocks and carried over to the area where there (was... teachers filled it in this weekend) a hole!  Charlie is very interested

in full repair of this hole and wants to make sure everyone stays safe!!!

Charlie is such a hard worker!

Luke is enjoying the wheelbarrow. Just moving these logs around the playground

is such good work for the kiddos muscle development!

Magnetic Cars and Trucks

Caroline enjoying the block area

Ella loves to write notes everyday!

Name Art
The children are learning to identify the letters in their own names
and squeezing the glue to outline each letter is excellent fine motor work as well
as practice for letter development

Wyatt exploring the block area

Caroline started her name art

Art Easel is always a favorite area
Wyatt started his name art today too

Nora working on her name art

Legos and the magnetic trucks come together. The boys asked if they could combine
these activities. They wanted to build tall walls and see if their cars could knock them down. I think they spent most of the time building. But they did such a great job being creative

Teagan started her name art today too!

We did not have an exercise leader today so Carly volunteered. She choose

sit ups!  Sit ups can be challenging!
