Tuesday's Blog

Today was Christmas Party Day and there was great excitement in the air!

Jesus Time

Miss Steinbacher made a visit. She talked about the angels visiting the sheep and shepherds and sharing the good new of Jesus's birth with them. We heard how the sky was lit up with angels and voices in the still of the night. After the story, Miss Steinbacher gave each of us a bright pom pom and we waved it with glee while we sang "Gloria." It is also our job to tell others about the birth of Jesus!

Miss Steinbacher shares a story with us.

We can tell people about Jesus!

Outside Time

The weather was a bit warmer so we spent a little bit of time outdoors. It was nice to be back on our naturalistic playground after some time away!

Advent

We read another devotional in our "Silent Night, Holy Night" book and added a sticker. We also counted the days to Christmas and Jesus's birthday (Mrs. Talley's too).  And Beckett changed the number our plaque. Mrs. Helmkamp also made a visit and read a story about the night of Jesus's birth with us.

Landon adds a sticker to our advent scene.

Beckett shows us how many days until Christmas!

Mrs. Helmkamp reads a story to the class.

We also read this story and the kiddos loved it! Mrs. Wishy Washy has been a favorite this year!

Christmas Party Time!

After eating yummy Christmas cookies and fun snowman shaped graham crackers we were ready for some fun party centers. We also had apple juice, milk and water to drink. The children rotated around the the following areas... fishing for candy canes, coloring an ornament, Christmas tree toss and decorating a Christmas suncatcher.

Christmas parties are fun!
