PLAY DOH
FUN

Ben, Luke and
Lincoln chose
to use the beads and colorful
wire

Today is Samuel's birthday

He is coloring his BDay crown
His mom is his bday reader
and spent a few minutes with us
before she read

Lucas wanted to practice
with scissors

Arwen joined him
at the writing table

SO fun to celebrate your
child for his/her bday!!!

Samuel invited his mom
to read today!!

SO much fun--- then we sang
Happy Birthday!

Ben was our
attendance helper

1 friend NOT at school
15 friends AT school

Ben then volunteered to
be our invocation leader

We talked a little more about
Abraham and Sarah

Then I showed a few pictures
of babies. We talked about how when we were babies our
families LOVED to watch us grow and cheered
for us when we started walking
and talking.
Then I said there is someone else who is always cheering for us
and is always WATCHING US---- many friends
told me GOD is always watching!!!

YES!!! And we are all a part of GOD'S
FAMILY!!!!

We then talked about how we should treat
each other in our school family----

I said Let's make a list of safety rules/
class rules.....

I think the safety part got the children
going down a different way---

I mean, they were all still saying safety rules
BUT I was thinking more like
Share our toys
keep our hands to ourselves
soft voices talking with each other.....

But the children got on
Don't talk to strangers------ which is true!

This is the great part about teaching----I can never predict
where our conversations with preschoolers
will go!!!πŸ’œπŸ’œ

Maisie was our
YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Tree Pose

getting boots on

OUTSIDE

Working hard drying the slide

The children LOVE to
help do this....

Cecilia and Kennedy played
together outside
today

Not nearly as muddy as yesterday

Plus no standing water(which was
disappointing to the children),
but the children still had a great time

Story Time

Charlotte was weather helper

Mack was our
prayer leader

Arwen was snack manager

Funny to me how different classes
as a whole do different things....
This year--- this group of children who are
 snack manager
when I flip the camera to "selfie"
they pose or make a super silly face

Ellie was our teacher

 assistant today
then we made
H's with the wooden lines

And then we pretended our finger was
a pencil and put our finger
where we should start our
H--- at the top!! And traced
over the wooden lines to form a H

CENTER TIME

a few new items
ramps
wooden balls
and other wooden pieces
tha tfit together to build with

Charlotte CREATING

One way we pick a project is by first
brainstorming ideas.......
we have done that over the last few weeks

Firetrucks and firemen
came up a few times.....

So I got out he firehouse
and firetruck plus a doll
house.....
I like to spend some time
observing interest.
I will also put out other
things from the list
like maybe doctor stuff or animals....
then we will vote and see
where the children interest is!

Many friends started
center time here

I finished doing ABC
Assessments
(at least all the children
who were here today)

Then a group moved over to
dramatic play

Emmy and Lucas
played with the ramps
and wooden balls

Samuel working on his
BIRTHDAY ART!

Emmy was our
superintendent

Lucas was our exercise leader
