This class as a whole seem to
really enjoy
puzzles---so I had many different
puzzle spread throughout the
room today for morning work

OUR SPECIAL VISITOR:
NURSE RUTH
she taught us about germs
and the importance of
hand washing
We practiced "sneezing"
or
"coughing" into our elbows
to help prevent
the spread of germs
we sang our hand washing song
and practiced washing our hands

gets them nice and clean
scrub the tops
and scrub the bottoms
and don't forget in between
Charleigh volunteered to be
our invocation leader
Noah's Ark
I read the story from the bible

Each child got to add a
character as we
retold the story
Ben got to be the RAIN
Otto got to the rock the boat
as it rained
After the rained ended
God put a rainbow in the sky
to remind us HE
always keeps HIS promises!
Luke volunteered to be

Begin with a plastic lid
fill with Elmer's Glue
then add dots of
liquid watercoloring....
using eye droppers are great
for strengthening little fingers
then we used a toothpick
to swirl, mix and blend....
so fun!!!
I began to realize that some enjoy
using the eyedroppers SO
much that we may have too much liquid---
(check out some of the pics belowšššš)
we will see on Monday if the glue
dries and we can get them off the plastic lids
However, fun was had and
learning the skill of using an eye dropper
is important
the children really loved
blending the colors
Calvin was our
superintendent
If they all dry----they will be so beautiful
hanging in our windows
