Colbie!!
( I forgot to post earlier this week)

Morning Work....

we started the morning with the lights dimmed

it was nice to not have the room so
bright first thing in the morning

These stickers became KINDNESS stickers

For Second Steps...

we talked about kindness

the other day when I was talking to one of the children
about something that had happened..
that child said...
my brain told me to do it....

So I thought I would use that line and
say that sometimes our brain may tell us
to do or say something unkind... But we can look down at our hand...
(at the kindness sticker) see the smile and remember to be kind

**** the kindness stickers,,,, were not very sticky and the children
 all  seem to really connect with this lesson
so I quickly improvised and used a sharpie to
draw a little heart on the hand...

I then told the children we can look at the
heart and remember to do what our heart is
telling us..... which is KINDNESS!

Several of the children worked very hard to
line these slides up....to make a triple slide!
