Morning Work Fun:

Play doh, branches, buttons, beads
and paper clips...

SUCH FUN

Lots of exploring......

Beautiful and colorful plastic(gem like)
leaves.........

Each tree has a number by it and I suggested
the children put leaves on the tree that
 correspond with the number......
reinforces number recognition and one
to one correspondence

Exploring letters with tweezers

Jesus Time
First we reviewed the story of Moses and the 12 spies
Then I told them this story was still about Moses and God's people

We learned about a very special place that was built a long
time ago.... Tabernacle

A tabernacle was like a tent... God's House

I gave the children some props to help
tell the story

In my basket I had jewels, gold, watches, candle
and other valuables.
Each child got one item
(plus some blocks to be used later)

A long time ago, God told Moses
Tell you people to bring gift to be used to build the
tabernacle

I called each child up to put their valuable into the basket
just as Moses had God's people do a
LONG time ago...

Then I told the children that not only did the
people give gifts but also their
time and hard work.
The children then gave over
with the blocks I had given them
earlier and we worked together to be
a Tabernacle

After we finished building our Tabernacle..
I told the children a little more of the story.

So the people would know God was also with them...God put
a cloud over the Tabernacle.  If the cloud lifted, Moses and
all of God's people would follow.

The Tabernacles were built so it could move
when the . cloud moved.
God is SO amazing and is always with us!!

New Letter

I showed pictures for clues...
a zebra, Zion, and Zoo

The children were all guessing Z
by the time I showed the last picture....

We used the lines to make Z

Today we started Fall Tree Observations...

YAY! I happy the tree still has
leaves and is a beautiful color
just perfect for our observations

we spotted a tree frog on our
way to the play ground

Dominic negotiating a turn
after Travis is finished

Travis said YES and then said
you can play with with now too!

This was a great way to problem solve and
work together...everyone was happy

These girls did a lot of hard work
moving the tire across
the play ground

Hannah, Trente and Carly playing together

Eddie was happy to get his
turn with the wheel barrow

Evie thought this was a good place to
be when the city was testing
the tornado sirens

Hard to see who this is...
But LOLA using her strong muscles to
pull this tire into the tunnel

Carly said
Look at me balance!

Then Trente and Dominic said
Look at me balance too!

These boys played
ice cream store for a long time

Evie has been working on
trying new things......
she thought about this and then decided she could
make the jump......

After she did this GREAT BRAVE jump
we thought better of this ...
as one of our very little thought it looked like fun
too!!
We decided just jumping from the tires
was a better choice because we don't
want anyone little to get hurt

But I still thought this picture was amazing
and so great for building
 confidence

Thank You Tristan
for this delicious Fruit Salad!!

Evie has some exciting news and wanted to share

She lost a tooth(again)

She was very excited to show it
and the children we very interested in seeing it!

We first talked about what colors are the leaves
for the summer trees and then I showed the children
pictures on the smart board of Fall
Trees!

I divided the children into groups and
everyone will get a turn to make
observations....
