A play invitation:
play doh, feathers, pipe cleaners
and goggly eyes

Build a turkey game
Roll the die and based upon what
number you get... you add the part
to the turkey until he is all
together

Coloring

The children really enjoyed play doh
this morning

Add the feathers to the turkeys
Each turkey has a number on it
and then the children can identify
the number and add that many
feathers(feathers are glued to
clothes pins)
Tis is also a great fine motor activity

Match and Cover
Each circle has a number or letter in it
the children can use the different loose parts(with numbers
or letters on them) to match and cover

and copied her name for the note he wrote her

Jesus Time
Today we heard a story about amazing
friendship.  And that God doesn't leave us alone ,even when
sad things happen...
This was the story of Naomi and Ruth

Naomi had incredibly sad things happen and was all alone
(her husband and sons had all died)
But Ruth, her daughter-in-law,
told Naomi don't be sad
I am with you!
I will never leave your side!!

God is so amazing he sent Ruth to Naomi when she
needed someone the most!

Next we used the puppets to act out a
situation.
Rosetta ( hte girl puppets) and JJ ( boy puppet)
were working together to fin something
Rosetta had loss, when Rosetta bumps into
JJ knocking him down.

We talked about sometimes accidents happen
and we can just help the person we knock over

We then did some role playing
Each child who wanted to participate
got to pretend to be building blocks
and the other child comes over and
accidentally knocks the blocks
over!!

We practiced using our words
For Example:
I am so sorry I knocked your work over
Can I help you fix it

And then the other child practiced
I forgive you
and yes please help me rebuild

Lots of friends wanted to
Role Play

Finally a nice to play on our playground

Carly practicing balancing

Trente practicing jumping

All the children were SO excited when
Eddie made it to school
while we were on the playground

This is the beginning of the tree "planting"

Numerous children worked on this

They have the tree standing now

Then a few friends decided this tree
needed leaves..
so they asked me to hang the leaves
on the branches

The leaves all had tiny holes
so it worked perfectly

If you look closely...you will
see a tree frog....

A last few finishing touches on the tree.....

Charlie job today was
sit by the teacher

Travis was prayer leader.....
which he took his job seriously....
as he saw one friend not folding his hands...
So Travis demonstrated and ask the child to fold his hands
😊

Carly was the snack manager

We did a new activity today
Graphing

I had a turkey with different colored shapes inside of it...

I did one color at a time and we figure out how many
of each color we had and then put it on the graph

I asked each child individually to come up and circle
one of whatever color we were focused on..
then remain standing....
after all of that color was circled we counted how any
friends were standing.. t
thats how many there were of that color...

The children enjoyed coming up and marking
the turkey

Red had the most

Center Time:
