Morning Work time

These kiddos were busy writing
letters to each other.
I heard several ask their friend how to spell
their name or they were
finding each others names
from the name cards and then
delivering the letters to the cubbies

Colbie started out putting leaves on the tree...
She said,
This is a FALL tree!

Next Colbie sorted out on the pumpkins and said,
Look a pumpkin patch

Ryan began sorting the pumpkins and then put leaves
around her pumpkins and said,
A leaf and pumpkin patch!

Carly was sorting the erasers

There is a color song that plays after our
clean up song...
The kids were so happy to sing it today

It is a little long so most days we
don't listen to the WHOLE song......
but today they really wanted too and were excited to do it!

Jesus Time...
I found a really cute Jesus Time story
that shared the story of Moses and God's people
and them building the tabernacle

Second Steps

I showed a picture of a little boy who was very angry

We spent a lot of time talking about why
the boy might have been angry and then we talked about
whether or not it is OK to feel angry!!

Many said it is not OK....
BUT we talked about that it is
OK to feel angry it is just what we do when we
are angry.
So then we talked about what we should
do if we feel angry.....

calm down, find an area to be alone,
the calming corner

It was chilly but the children
had so much fun outside to day...
no one really wanted to come in.....

We did this on a day Colton was gone..
so we got his today

When a friend suggested Rainbow Breathing as a
way to calm down another friend said
she had never heard of it before

SO we did some rainbow breathing today

Center Time:

The last few children went outside
today to do their tree observations

Yesterday the blocks all got put back into the incorrect
baskets...so a few minutes before center time was over
I went over and encourages kiddos to find the picture
that matched the block and then put that block into that
basket.. many other children
joined in and said,
I am being called to care!💕💕

Brody was the exercise leader
He choose 10 push ups!

Clean up Time:

Working together to get the
art area clean
