Arctic Animal Sorting

This is a great Valentine

Counting game...

add a heart to each dot

count how many

then write that number

Zippy came to school

BUT zippy was feeling VERY scared

and hid behind my sweater...

He was afraid that we were going to

 have a storm today

This started a lot of

conversations about what to do if

you are afraid of a storm

PLUS several children had great advice

to Zippy on what to do if you are afraid

After we talked for a bit we then

 said this prayer

Then we heard about a time from the bible when 

the  disciples were afraid during a storm...

Jesus and his disciples had rowed out into the Sea

and Jesus fell asleep

A BIG storm came and ALL of the disciples were frightened and woke

Jesus up...

Jesus says, Why are you frightened?  O' you of little faith

And then he tells the wind and waves to stop!

The storm did stop!!

The disciples knew then that if even

 the wind and waves obey

Jesus is so POWERFUL!

We know that Jesus is GOD and can

do anything!!

Jesus even overcame death and sin

for US!!!

We then watch a few videos

and thought of a few more questions
